An avid runner, completing 11 marathons
Dr. John Flynn holds a B.S. in Biology from Missouri Valley College and furthered his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from New York Chiropractic College and a Level 2 Medical Professional (TPI) from the Titleist Performance Institute.
With over 40 years of dedicated practice in Raleigh at Flynn Chiropractic & Sports Rehab, Dr. Flynn has held leadership positions as the Past President of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and the Crabtree Rotary Club in Raleigh. His commitment to excellence has earned him several accolades, including being named Mr. Viking while at Missouri Valley College and Doctor of the Year by the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. An avid runner, he has completed 11 marathons, qualifying for both the NYC and Boston marathons twice.
In his free time, Dr. Flynn enjoys staying active through workouts, golfing, and spending quality time on the boat with his family. His journey into chiropractic began after sustaining an injury while playing football in college; a transformative experience with a local chiropractor not only led to his quick recovery but also inspired a pivotal career change from veterinary medicine to chiropractic care. This decision has been a blessing, allowing him to witness the profound positive results that chiropractic care can offer to others. Dr. John Flynn grew up on Long Island, NY, where he married his high school sweetheart. Together, they have two children and three grandchildren.

Join us in welcoming Dr. McGee to the MCC family! We are thrilled to have him on board!
After earning an undergraduate degree from St. Ambrose University, Dr. McGee graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 1982. Upon graduation, Dr. McGee began teaching at Palmer College, where he was an associate professor in the clinical sciences department. In 1993 he moved to Greenville, NC, beginning full-time private practice.
In addition to his private practice, he also served as the team chiropractor for East Carolina University Pirate Athletics, helping student athletes feel their best so that they could achieve the highest levels of athletic performance. Dr. McGee’s interest in chiropractic began after sustaining a neck injury while wrestling in high school. His family chiropractor encouraged him to consider chiropractic as a career.
When not at the office, you will find Dr. McGee at the gym, gardening, cooking or fishing in Beaufort. He and his wife, Patti especially enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
